Dearly Beloved in Christ,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The resurrection of our Divine Lord from the dead is the cornerstone of Christian doctrine. If Jesus Christ is not risen, our faith and message are in vain.
God raised Jesus from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places. He is above all rule and authority and power and above every name that is named now and in that which is to come. God put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church.
The disciples were not able to understand the resurrection as the fulfilling of prophesy. “Charles Spurgeon says Our Lord was pleased to give many Infallible proofs of his resurrection, by appearing again and again in the midst of his followers” To recognize the fact Jesus explained the scripture to them and gave fellowship. It made them capable to understand resurrection and it became a source of rejoicing.
May we always experience the joy of Fellowship with the risen Christ. May Lord bless us.
